J. Wolfgang Goerlich is an Advisory CISO for Cisco Secure. Prior to this role, he led IT and IT security in the healthcare and financial services verticals. Wolfgang has held VP positions at several consulting firms, leading security advisory and assessment practices. He is an active part of the security community. Wolfgang regularly advises on the topics of security architecture and design, identity and access management, zero trust, and resilience.

Violet Sullivan leads Redpoint’s channel development and cyber consulting services divisions as VP of Client Engagement, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity threat management and response within the legal, insurance, and risk management channels. Violet is a licensed attorney and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and in addition to her full-time role, she serves as a professor of Cybersecurity & Privacy Law at Baylor University.
Her diverse practice experience at both the individual and policy levels has prepared her for developing new tools and approaches to solving what is fast-becoming a pervasive and costly challenge in modern industry: how to respond to a cybersecurity incident.

Early in her career, Violet worked on the incident responses for some of the largest and most notable data breaches to date, including: Home Depot, Sony, and Anthem. In the past 8 years, she has facilitated over 450 cyber incident simulations for public and private sector companies.

Violet provides reviews and develops customized incident response plans to ensure organizations are prepared to respond efficiently and effectively to a data breach. Her customized tabletop simulations are focused on "pressure-testing" an organization's incident response procedures and protocols.

Alexander Urbelis is Senior Counsel for cybersecurity with Crowell LLP. Bridging the gap between legal and technical expertise, Alex is also the architect of an award-winning cyber threat intelligence platform, designed to identify hallmarks of impending cyberattacks, cybersquatting, counterfeiting, and other malicious activities. Making international news in March 2020, Alex detected and helped to neutralize a state-sponsored intrusion attempt on the World Health Organization.
Alex previously served as the Chief Information Security Officer of the National Football League, overseeing cyber risk and the NFL’s worldwide information security strategy. Alex also served as the Chief Compliance Officer of Richemont, one of the world’s largest luxury conglomerates. His federal service includes positions within the Central Intelligence Agency, the US Army JAG Corps, and the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Alex believes in a multidisciplinary approach to cybersecurity and counsels companies on hybrid technical and legal measures to deflect and deter cyber incidents, information security governance, threat intelligence, and responding to attacks from sophisticated cyber adversaries.

Alex is a member of the Technology Advisory Board of Human Rights First, the UL Security Council, the Uniform Law Commission Committee for the Study of Cybercrime, the Uniform Law Commission Committee for the Study of Deep Fakes, the Society of Professional Investigators, and was a Board Member of the Internet Society, NY Chapter.

Carlos has amassed 10 years as an infosec leader, CTO and CISO for multibillion-dollar companies. A trusted advisor and thought leader, Carlos prefers an approach to cybersecurity that focuses on achieving business outcomes while balancing risk & simplification. He believes collaboration and communication are foundational principles while developing a long-range visions that translates into actionable strategies. Prior to CA2, Carlos served as Director, IT Security & Risk at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation and before that Sr. Manager of Information Security, Cybersecurity Operations at Kemper.

Serge Droz is vice chairman of the FIRST board of directors, with a full-time role as Senior Technical Advisor at Switzerland’s Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.He previously worked at ProtonMail as a senior IT security expert and seasoned incident responder. Serge has worked in private industry and academia in Switzerland and Canada, as well as in different security roles at the national CERT in Switzerland for more than 15 years. He also served for two years in the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security permanent stakeholder group.

Olivier Caleff is a board member at FIRST whose day job is CISO and Cyber-Resilience & Crisis Director at cyber services and security training firm Erium. His specializations include incident response, SOC operations, risk management, cloud security, IoT Security, training and education and more.

Chris spent over 12 years working in the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) whilst at Citigroup and, for 10 years, has been among FIRST’s executive leaders, including 2 yearsas Chair. Within FIRST he implemented the Fellowship program, which was created to fund CERTs from UN-designated “Least Developed Nations” (LDCs) allowing them both to join FIRST and attend conferences and training.
Chris joined the UK Government's CERT-UK team in November 2013 to build and launch the UK’s first formally chartered national CERT, joined Close Brothers as Chief Information Security Officer in November 2016, moved to Orwell Group as CISO in Jul 2018 and joined FIRST as it’s Executive Director in May 2019.
Chris’ experience has allowed him to work with colleagues from both inside some of the world’s largest global financial institutions with the complexities that brings and also with colleagues from the incident response community, with members ranging from Microsoft and Oracle through to the national CERTs of Azerbaijan and Indonesia.

As Senior Vice President Security Services & Incident Response, Larry is responsible for shaping the eSentire Global Incident Response Program. He is a veteran of the digital forensics and incident response world, having accumulated over 21 years of experience leading the investigation of technology-based crimes.

Larry has completed many forensics training programs with the RCMP, OPP e-Crimes, FBI, National White-Collar Crime Committee and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists as well as with several technology vendors. Larry is a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (IACIS 2001), and GIAC Certified Incident Handler. He has extensive experience testifying as a qualified expert in both criminal and civil matters.
