He recently returned to Husch Blackwell after working in the Office of General Counsel for the NSA. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).

Michael Farnum is an Advisory CISO and has been in the IT and Information Security fields since 1994. During this time, Michael has held numerous senior cybersecurity consulting, architecture, and leadership roles in various industries such as healthcare, staffing, and software development. Michael has spent the last several years working for cybersecurity solutions providers in the consulting, application security, and reseller spaces, where he has helped numerous organizations assess and build their security and compliance programs. ​

In 2010, Michael founded HOU.SEC.CON, a non-profit cybersecurity conference in Houston, with over 1000 attendees annually. In addition to organizing a security conference, Michael often speaks at conferences such as RSA, Infosecurity Europe, and several BSides events, and he is also a prolific cybersecurity podcaster.​

Prior to his career in IT and security, Michael served in the US Army and drove an M1A1 main battle tank in Desert Shield/Storm and spent 2+ years as a land surveyor.

Rafal Los is an industry innovator, strategist, and personality. He currently serves as the head of services go-to-market at ExtraHop, where he brings more than 25 years of experience building, optimizing, and delivering strategic security and IT services. His body of work spans product, sales, marketing, alliances, and strategic leadership in some of the most complex environments.

Johnathon has been in the cybersecurity field for over three decades and he has witnessed the evolution of digital security from its infancy to the complex landscape it is today.

Starting as a Linux systems administrator, JB immersed himself in the world of digital defense, specializing in perimeter security, firewalls, and content solutions. His RTFM knowledge and hands-on experience in these areas have made him a respected authority in the ExtraHop cybersecurity community. In recent years, JB has honed his skills in a crucial area of cybersecurity—incident response and "Walking the Stack". With a focus on cleaning up cyber incidents, he has proven his mettle in mitigating and recovering from data breaches, cyberattacks and security incidents. JB's ability to handle these high-pressure situations with poise and effectiveness has been instrumental in safeguarding organizations from cyber threats, and giving forensic accounts of who, how and what did they get.

Zac Warren is Senior Director of Cybersecurity Advisory in EMEA. Zac started his career in IT with a passion for cybersecurity and was a senior security analyst at a leading manufacturer of security platforms and later a cybersecurity architect and consultant for large system integrators. Zac has spent most of his career helping government agencies and several Fortune100 companies reorganize their security architectures, controls, policies, and procedures. Today, Zac is responsible for developing and supporting Tanium's cybersecurity business in EMEA.

Mark Weatherford is Chief Strategy Officer and a director on the board at the National Cybersecurity Center.

Mark has held a variety of executive-level cybersecurity roles including Global Information Security Strategist at Booking Holdings, Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at vArmour, Principal at The Chertoff Group, Chief Security Officer at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, and the first Chief Information Security Officer for the state of Colorado. He was also appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2008 to serve as California’s first Chief Information Security Officer, and in 2011 he was appointed by the Obama Administration as the nation’s first Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Scott J. Roberts is a security leader, analyst, software developer, and author. He is Head of Threat Research for Interpres Security and has led security teams and projects in the defense industrial base, GitHub, Apple, Splunk, and most recently Argo AI. He is also a researcher at Utah State University, where he is focused on Anticipatory Intelligence – tackling emergent problems in national and cybersecurity. Roberts has served as an advisory committee member for SANS CTI & DFIR Summits and been a frequent speaker at SANS, BSides, and other industry conferences. He co-authored O’Reilly’s Intelligence Driven Incident Response with Rebekah Brown. Roberts is passionate about improving security via automation, especially on macOS, and developing open and closed source tooling in Python, Go, and Swift.
